Product Review

Ban King Credit is a licensed moneylender at 705 Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 about five minutes walk from Ang Mo Kio MRT and they have been lending since 2015.

One important thing to sort out before you apply. Their site lists two different licence numbers, on the homepage it says 75/2026 while their FAQ and footer disclaimer say 72/2025. Only one of these is current so check them yourself on the Registry of Moneylenders list at rom.mlaw.gov.sg before you go down to there office.

They publish no interest rates but their loan calculator on their site lets you pick anything between 1% and 4% monthly but that is you choosing a number not them quoting you one. Better ask for your rate on the phone before making any trip.

Eleven loan types are listed but most are the same personal loan with a different label. A vacation loan and a wedding loan are not separate products. The bad credit loan is the one that matters if the banks have turned you down and they say they look at your current repayment ability rather than only your past record.

They are open Monday to Saturday 11am to 8pm and closed Sundays and public holidays. The 8pm closing is later than most lenders which helps if you finish work late.
