Petrol station loyalty cards work on top of your petrol credit card. You can use them to get even more of a discount on petrol and sometimes other rewards too.

The petrol credit card you choose will likely fit with a single petrol station type. Pick a card that offers discounts for your preferred choice.
Not only can you get discounts with petrol credit cards, but also with loyalty cards. When you have both of these, you can save quite a fair bit on petrol!
Some discounts are a one-off chance. It is best to get as much petrol in one go as you possibly can.
You should never pick a petrol credit card with a minimum spend that you can’t keep up with. Minimum spend is what gets you all the benefits. Make sure you reach it each month.
If you tend to hit the cashback limit before the month is up, use a second petrol credit card. This way you can get cashback rewards from both cards and still get your petrol discount.
Most of these petrol companies have some form of agreement with a bank to get certain discounts on petrol instead of cashback promotions.
The discounts can be anywhere between 15% to 25%. The higher percentages ten to be one-off offers rather than permanent discounts.
